I've been lusting after a pair of leather leggings for months but I have never been able to justify the cost. I tend to have minimal and admittedly, Midwestern, style sensibilities and leather-look leggings are a bit of a fashion risk in Minnesota. I didn't want to spend too much in case I turned out to be too insecure to wear them often. So, I started researching to find the perfect (and as close to $100 as possible) pair of faux leather leggings. This pair of Lysse leggings came up over and over in the search with lots of great reviews.
Two of things that are gripe-able about faux leather leggings are that they might feel like a plastic bag on and creak when you move. The Lysse leggings feel great and don't creak (double YAY!!!). I started experimenting with ways to style them and settled on a tomboy-ish look. I paired them with my favorite Nike sneakers, a denim jacket, and a billowy white tee. If you look on pinterest there are more daring ways to wear them and I will definitely experiment with new outfit pairings as I get more confident. See links below to try out my tomboy casual look.
